The Australian National University (ANU) will contribute to six projects funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities (LIEF) grants.

The ARC LIEF grants have allocated more than $7 million to these joint ventures, which encompass a wide range of disciplines, including photonics, materials science, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, and the study of materials under extreme conditions. These initiatives align with the national research priorities and showcase the university's dedication to addressing complex and pressing global challenges.

ANU is a partner on the following projects:

1. The University of New South Wales - Ultrafast Infrared Spectroscopy Facility, $762,800
